I got called in to a sit down for a potential job yesterday,it's a shopping complex with appox. 20,000. Sq Ft. of clay roofing that needs to be softwash. I did a free sample April of 2015,and have been folowing up with calls and visits.
My problem here is i have to submit the quote tomorrow but need some help on costing for the job. my pricing is different form you guy because I would pay more taxes to have my material shipping. Your $1.00USD is $2.7169 ECD. I may have to pay someone to help me sort out a price per. SQ. FT. Especially on commercial jobs.
Thanks and any advice would be welcomed.

Nigel,
With the time constraints, I'd call AC directly. His number is in his forum signature. You may also be able to call the other gentleman doing business down your way. I think they are Trident or something like this?
I hope you get the job! Best of luck.

My advice to you is use Chems you have there. You will need a 50/50 mix so plan on using a lot if sh. On my island I double the price for tiles because you use so much chems. Sell your quality and soft wash process, price will be what you want. You need to be between $150-250 per hour.

Thanks guys for your reply to my request.Next question, approximately how much Green Wash, Rain wash and SH I would need to complete a 20,000 sq. ft clay roof at a shopping complex.

Without looking at it it would be hard. I would figure 10 50gallon batches of mix. SH depends on how strong SH you get there. Here I would be 150 gallons of SH. 80 ounces Greenwash 6x

For clay tile, you should get about 75 sq. ft for each gallon of mix you make. You may have to do 2 coats - depending on how badly stained. Which is why Tim's guesstimate keeps you safe.
300-500 gallons of finished mix. 3 gallons of SH for every 10 gallons of finished mix gets you a 3%, so 90-150 gallons.

Thanks again guys, had a site visit this morning and it went well. I'll try to send some photo of the clay roofs and maybe a site plan of the complex.

Guys I'm here put some numbers together for my quote which is due on Monday, and Chis,Tom and Brando comments have being very helpful. I'm also trying to get a softwash chemical supplier out of Florida so I can get prices of the chemicals and shipping arrangement to the Caribbean Island of St.Lucia.
Thanks
Nigel

If I use the Green Wash 6x,would I still need to add the Rain Wash to the mix. The job is at a shopping complex so I will have the mask the smell of the bleach.

Nigel,
Do you have a pressure wash store nearby? They may have some options for masking the SH smell locally to get you by until you receive the Rain Fresh.

If you do, just be sure to read the label. I've seen a Lemon-Fresh product that is not chlorine stable and will kill your remaining mix pretty quickly.

We don't have a pressure wash store on island, think I go the the store where I buy my SH. Their may have something can use for now.
