I'm currently in the middle of the busiest week we've had at Shine so for the first time I filled the 100 gal bulk tank and went to work. I mixed four 50 gal batches of 4% solution today and with every batch it started out cleaning great but when I got to about 5-8 gallons left in the mix tank my solution wasn't cutting like it did at the beginning of the batch. I even tried recirculating the last two batches after I mixed them and had the same issue. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? I'm using 10.5% SH.

Ryan,
sounds like a not so fresh SH or maybe a surfactant issue. What are you using for a surfactant?
are you using any kind of accelerator, like pixie dust?

I'm only adding Green Wash and it's only a month.

Ryan try circulating before you spray. the SH is heavier than the water in the tank and if you have a bottom draw you are taking all the sh first. You can circulate and spray at the same time. Are you using a SWS system or something else?

I am using SWS equipment. I tried circulating it a couple times. How much time should I give the mix to circulate to ensure it's going to stay mixed?

Matt Nailed it, We had this happen to one of our team, Mix for 5 to 10min while your doing other stuff.

Thanks Patrick. I'll do that today and post back with my results.

After we mix a fresh tank, we always stick the wand in the tank and let it circulate for five minutes also. That will completely ensure that it is mixed fully.
