I have a house and roof cleaning to do next week. The house has a couple of bay windows with copper tops. These are very dark. Homeowner said they like the color and don't want the color to change. I have not had an experience with copper. Is my softwash solution going to change the color and if so how can I prevent this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Constant rinsing with water while cleaning and it should be fine. And then use bleach wash. Just advise homeowner that if any color change in an area, that it will change back after it weathers.

Thanks Tim and AC. Everything I read talked about how to clean copper. This is probably the only customer that wants me to make sure I don't clean.
Thanks again guys.

Pre-wet, have your tech rinsing while you are spraying around it, and keep rinsing while it runs off.
We had copper dormers all over this roof - and we didn't change the patina, finish or color one single bit.
