Price it out for the full roof then discount 20-30% for one side only.

We only warranty an entire roof cleaning. Just as an example...
If it were a 12 square roof cleaning we would charge $500 for a half roof cleaning and $600 for the entire roof with the entire roof cleaning coming with a warranty.

We do partial roof cleanings, first we try to talk homeowner into a complete cleaning though. Warranty is only on complete roof cleanings, never on a partial cleaning. Just like Micheal stated for the pricing. 20 - 30% less than a full cleaning.

Like Zack said. we also let the customer know why we warranty our work. I would never turn down a partial cleaning. But we let the customer know the reason we cannot warranty a partial cleaning is because you have growth all over the roof it is just more visible on the north side. And if we do not clean the entire roof the mold spores will travel airborne then reattach and start growing on the side we cleaned in a short period of time. A partial cleaning is priced maybe a hundred dollars less then the full job.

These guy's are dead on take off no more than 25-30% of full price and no warranty. If they push you on the price tell them that you have to figure in set-up and prep time which is the same whether you come out to do 1/2 the roof or the whole thing. I give 15% off for veterans discount and 10% senior citizens so you could possibly drop10% more if they meet that criteria and they give you some good word of mouth advertising at the vfw hall?

The neighbor down the street wont know you did a partial and when the algae returns....... they think you did. Poor job and are no more capable than the low ballets. Treat the whole roof. Remember its like pest control.

Same question...only in a commercial application. I have a meeting today with a large church complex. The north slopes are trash, but this is a multi-building complex, many of the joined together over the years. My guestamate is 200-300 sq. Partial roofs in commercial applications?
