I worked with a safety equipment provider to come up with this great kit for roof cleaners. The cost on the kit is $539.00 and can be purchased from any of our SoftWash Systems Distributors.

Here is a pic of the kit.
Thanks,

The company that makes this kit will not include a SWS roof pipe anchor untill we get the testing done on it. Maybe in the forseeable future.

I would be very interested in the test results AC. I was under the impression that it had already been tested and was OSHA approved.

Marcus,
OSHA doesnt approve equipment. Equipment can only adhere to the OSHA standard which the anchor does. To get ANSI to rate / approve the equipment, third party testing needs done. ANSI is much like the Underwriters Labortory of safety equip. You dont have to have their blessing but it helps.
Thanks,
AC

AC,
Was at an OSHA Seminar 3/13 discussing the enforcement that starts 3/15. I know you do a thorough research on all of your items. When I asked the Code Enforcement officer about your roof anchor, they couldn't give me a definitive answer as to whether or not they would aprove of it's use. I would like to inform them as to the stats. Have you had any situations that have tested the OSHA inspection and had it's approval?

Chuck,
We use it for Fall Positioning where falls are limited to two feet or less. Because of that there is little to no stress placed on the pipe or the anchor. However they are constructed to withstand 2.5 times the impact load. However testing is not required by law.

Hi Zack,
Thank you for your concern. It had better be, or the Ropes Kit will be going back to J. Racenstein. Just kidding, no I haven't bought it yet, either.
Still doing the ol' toes in the water trick, LOL.
I am learning though, but not sure how to get experience over here in WA state. Orlando is about as far away as I can get!
We'll have to see what kind of airfare that Joan can get me ;)!
